Youth in revolt

Have tried to write a long an analytical post about why Michael Cera is great and why I don’t care that people will mock me for a long time for writing that.

I would like to write why he is both today’s Anthony Michael Hall and Andrew McCarthy and about how it’s great that our generation has our own version of the Brat pack – only funnier, cooler and more Canadian.

I would like to list all the reasons why I don’t care that he’s always typecast as Paulie Bleeker/Evan/Nick/Nick Twisp.

Instead I’m hoping I will be the next Wes Anderson and am frightened that I was a bit turned on by Cera’s character’s alter ego, Francois Dillinger, in Youth in Revolt.
