It’s alive!

Mandatory travel update:

Spent about week or so in a hot and humid Darwin and around. We rented a four wheel drive and went camping (which according to most people there was a crazy idea because of the wet season) in the national parks, Kakadu and Litchfield.

Then took a train (The Ghan – I all trains back home should have names, too. Like in India.) to Alice Springs via Katherine. It was the kind of train you read about in Agatha Christie novels.

Spent a few days in Alice Springs, then took a tour around the Red Centre – King’s Canyon, Kata Tjuta and Uluru.

Flew to Brisbane where we spent a few nights. Then continued to the Whitsunday Coast where we went sailing and spent a few days on one of the islands.

At the moment I’m in Mackay, waiting for my flight to Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Will have to find skimpy neon coloured clothing and pink zink cream.
